The concept for the public spaces evolved from a broader landscape and site-development strategy that already incorporated art as a core theme. Since the complex houses a center that functions as a gallery, integrating art became a natural component of the overall environmental concept. This theme is extended into the outdoor areas through landscape design, while the interiors of the public zones carry it forward inside the building, creating a cohesive experience of engagement with art throughout the entire space. The overarching goal of the project was to enhance the quality of the everyday environment by immersing people in art. The interior architecture is conceived as an extension of the urban realm: the distinct rhythm of the facades, the use of contrasting color palettes, and the building’s expressive, sculptural forms are all echoed within the public spaces.
The concept is rooted in the vision of a contemporary art gallery woven into the everyday life of a residential complex. Public spaces serve as a backdrop for art, with paintings and works by contemporary artists integrated directly into the architecture. Artistic accents, light, and color create an ever-evolving visual narrative, transforming the residents' routine paths into part of a cultural experience.
Different social scenarios have been given their own spatial expression. In the coffee shop area, transparent colored glass and metal create a play of light and reflections; the waiting area is defined by soft modular furniture and greenery, while one of the walls serves as a backdrop for an art display.
This approach has made it possible to view art as a tool for enhancing the quality of the everyday environment. Immersion in an artistic context — exploring contemporary art practices and reinterpreting them within architecture — has served as the foundation for working with color, light, composition, and visual accents. As a result, public spaces gain an additional cultural and emotional dimension, while the familiar routes taken by residents are transformed into opportunities for ongoing engagement with art.
